Spider-Man “Neogenic Nightmare” Beast Background Layout Drawing (1995) - ID: oct25008

A background layout drawing from the Marvel Studios animated series “Spider-Man: The Animated Series”. Featuring Beast and Spider-Man jumping through the trees, the graphite on paper drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece was used to determine camera movement and character positioning for the 1995 episode “ Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter 4: The Mutant Agenda,” which featured members of the X-Men. Measuring 16.25”x20.75” overall, with the image area measuring 14”x19”, the layout drawing is in very good condition with wear from age, studio use, and storage including minor discoloration and soiling, edge and corner wear, and the upper left corner shows particular creasing with light tears.
